Hogan admin. awards grants to combat violence against women

Governor Larry Hogan's office has awarded more than $2.5 million in grants to counties across the state to help women who have been victims of violence.

The money comes from the federal "STOP Violence Against Women" grant program.

The funds will go to non-profit organizations that help victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking.
