Are you still holding on to lottery tickets purchased in January? If so, you just might miss out on a big cash payment.

Maryland Lottery and Gaming officials said two unclaimed tickets purchased in Maryland, each worth $1 million, will expire this month if no one comes forward.

A Mega Millions ticket purchased for the January 8 drawing at a Royal Farms location in Dundalk will be voided Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Another winning Powerball ticket purchased on January 13 at a 7-Eleven in Bladensburg will expire on Wednesday, July 13.

Lottery officials said all unclaimed money will go back into the Lottery's Unclaimed Prize Fund.
