To honor one of its former directors, officials at Maryland Lottery and Gaming held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday for a new room in its Montgomery Park offices.
The "Buddy Roogow Winner's Circle" honors its namesake, the director of the Maryland Lottery from 1996-2009.
"During his tenure, he became the face of the organization and was equally known for his strong leadership and outgoing personality," Lottery officials said in a press release. "Buddy had a lasting impact on the Maryland Lottery and the new room will honor his legacy."
