Investigators found 15 guns and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition in his apartment in Silver Spring. Hasson is charged with the possession of two-gun silencers and being a user of drugs who is in possession of a weapon.
Prosecutors said Hasson is a white nationalist inspired in part by the mass murderer Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in Norway back in 2011.
Investigators said they found a hit list in Hasson’s apartment that included the names of some TV personalities and leaders in the Democratic Party.
He’s scheduled to be arraigned in federal court in Greenbelt at 2:00 p.m.
