Maryland courts will stay closed through June 5

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Judiciary is ordering courts to stay closed through June 5, with limited exceptions.

That's one of two new orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic announced Tuesday by Maryland Court of Appeals Judge Mary Ellen Barbera.

One of the administrative order provides guidance on the release of incarcerated and imprisoned residents.
