As a shortened work week begins, state parks are open once again after being filled to capacity over the Memorial Day weekend.
Maryland State Parks notified visitors around 10 a.m. Monday morning that several parks were closed because they were filled to capacity.

Sandy Point shut down just after 11 a.m. and didn't reopen for hours.
