ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland Democratic Party Chair and widow of state U.S. House Representative Elijah Cummings resigned Monday evening from her position.
Maya Rockeymoore Cummings is scheduled to make an announcement Tuesday morning, regarding the special election of her late husband.
Baltimore City State Senator Cory McCray is now Interim Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party.
