Medical marijuana sales in the state could potentially reach double the expected amount in 2018.
According to data from the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, medical marijuana sales in our state have surpassed expectations.
New frontier data forecasted last year predicted Maryland's 2018 sales would be $46 million dollars, but that was before Maryland's market kicked off last December.
However, new data shows $67 million in sales in the first nine months of 2018.
Now, data says sales could hit $100 million dollars by next month, that's more than double the original estimate.
