GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will close all branch offices and VEIP stations on Saturday, June 29 to perform one of three annual software updates.
In addition to the closings, the eStore and online transactions will be unavailable from 9 p.m. on Friday, June 28 to noon Saturday, June 29. However, MDOT MVA's 10 self-service VEIP kiosks will remain in service during that time. These self-service VEIP kiosks can be found by clicking here.
MDOT MVA will provide information on its website and social media channels to confirm when online transaction services are available, and all branch offices and VEIP stations will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 1.
To provide customers with additional service, MDOT MVA branches have extended their hours until 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays to help complete transactions. Seven branch offices across the state have also extended their hours to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays through July 2.
