GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Maryland Vehicle Administration experienced a technical issue Monday that delayed services.
According to the MDOT MVA, there was a network outage that connects motor vehicle agencies across the United States to each other and to various verification services.
Officials said the services were back operating in the afternoon.
Branches were unable to process driver’s license transactions that required electronic verification.
MDOT MVA said, the affected network is operated by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.
