A brand new roller coaster is coming to Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
The amusement park announced Thursday that it will be adding the Firebird roller coaster in the 2019 season.
The park is describing the new ride as a sit down floorless roller coaster.
The ride starts with a nine-story drop and is designed to make riders feel like they're airborne.
The new coaster will replace the Apocalypse, which is set to take its last ride Sept. 8 after six years.
