MDTA officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday in the area of SB I-95 Exit 50 just after 11:40 a.m.
The collision involved a semi-truck and an SUV. The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
During this time, all southbound traffic was held for emergency response, those lanes were quickly reopened.
Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
