Monday is your chance to have your voice heard about a plan to increase utility rates in parts of Maryland.
The state's public service commission will hold a public hearing on a request by Pepco, to increase its electric distribution rates.
Under the plan, the average customer would pay about seven dollars more a month.
Pepco provides electricity to more than a half-million customers in Prince George's and Montgomery counties.
Monday's hearing will be at Prince George's Community College at 6:30 p.m.
Another public hearing will be held Wednesday in Rockville.
