SafeWise has announced the ten safest cities in Maryland.
Topping out the list is Brentwood followed by Sykesville, Manchester, Smithsburg, Boonsboro, Ocean Pines, Hampstead, Taneytown, Thurmont and Glenarden.
Baltimore was number 43 on the list.
To compile this report, SafeWise analysts considered the most recent FBI crime data from 2014 in cities that all have a minimum population of 3,000 people.
