Six people stepped into a coffin Friday evening and woke up $300 richer Saturday night.

Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro held the contest that was originally only supposed to be in St. Louis. Parks in several other states picked up the challenge because it drew a lot of interest.

All six people stayed in their coffins from 5 p.m. Friday until 11 p.m. Saturday.

Each person won $300, gold season ticket passes, a fright fest VIP package and the coffin itself.
