EAST NEW MARKET, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say a trooper was injured when his patrol car crashed head-on with a pickup truck in Dorchester County.
The agency said in a news release that the crash occurred Thursday morning on Route 392 in East New Market. Authorities say Master Trooper Clinton Weems was driving west when a pickup truck traveling east crossed the center line and hit the patrol car head-on.

Investigators say the driver of the pickup truck was 19-year-old Tristen Blake of Federalsburg. Troopers say he and a passenger, 41-year-old Jesus Sanchez of Cambridge, were treated on the scene for their injuries.
