The Ocean City Police Department arrested two men for burglarizing hotels that were closed in the area due to winter months.
Officials say after receiving a report for a burglary at a hotel located on 29th Street and Baltimore Avenue they were able to determine that the burglars stole TV's from hotel rooms.
Detectives within the department identified the burglars as 31-year-old Paul J. Kelly and 44-year-old James T. Eckenrod.
With an issued search and seizure warrant, officers went to their residence located on 32nd Street and located multiple stolen TV's along with bicycles that were once reported stolen.
Kelly has been charged with two counts of first-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree burglary, one count of fourth-degree burglary, one count of theft of $100 to less than $1,500, one count of theft $1,500 to less than $25,000, and one count of malicious destruction of property.
Eckenrod has been charged with two counts of theft of $100 to less than $1,500.
