QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, md. — A woman is in the hospital after being knocked down by a car on US-50 and Cox Neck Road.
Officers say they received a call for a pedestrian struck at 5:40pm on Saturday.
When officers arrived, they found a woman that had been hit and pushed down by a car as she was walking on the shoulder of the road. The car's right side hit the woman knocking her down.
Police say the woman was taken to shock trauma as a precaution and has non-life threatening injuries.
Maryland State Police are investigating this incident.
