TOWSON, Md. — People in the Rodgers Forge community took time out of their Memorial Day to honor one of their neighbors, Stuart Baldwin Arnold III.
Arnold was a Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. His neighbors describe him as a quiet man who would always stop to talk to the neighbors when he was walking outside.
He beat stomach cancer, but died on Friday from lung cancer. Neighbors tell WMAR-2 News he thought he had COVID-19 symptoms, so he went to the ER but instead found out he had lung cancer and died a few hours later.
On Memorial Day, neighbors gathered on the street to honor Arnold and pay their respects.
