WMAR-2 News is committed to improving the lives of Veterans in Maryland by giving light to their stories, struggles and triumphs. Every week a local veteran will be featured in our Veteran Spotlight contest.
This week's honoree is Jesse Spike of Chesapeake Beach. He served the United States Army for seven years, starting his military career at Fort Jackson before traveling to Korea. He was also stationed at Fort Bragg and Fort Polk.
Jesse's mother says he has an incredibly kind heart and is always there for her and his grandparents.
WMAR-2 News proudly salutes you, Jesse Spiker. We appreciate your service and dedication to our great country.
