BALTIMORE — Two organizations worked together to help Baltimore area veterans transitioning military and military spouses find new career opportunities.
Disabled American veterans and recruit military hosted the Baltimore veterans job fair on Thursday. There were more than 50 employers were there ready to hire.
"it’s very important for a fair like this for veterans because what it is you know that it is directly for veterans and you don’t have that competition to deal with civilians at that particular time so it kind of gives you a better edge," said Donald Dashiell, a retired Army veteran.
More than 300 people attended the event. Our Voice for Veteran’s coverage isn't just on the air.
