If you're looking to enjoy the Inner Harbor, with the family, we've got just what you're looking for.
"On Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 9 there's yoga, there's family yoga, there are boot camps, there's Charm City run doing running clinics and there's dance fitness."
Mia Redrick says family fun is overflowing at the harbor this summer, thanks to Waterfront Wellness Baltimore.
"These classes are free to the public. They are one-hour classes. You can take one or you can take all of them. Whatever your heart desires. It's really a great way to get the family fit and moving without any additional expenses. The classes are free."
The Mom Strategist says there's a lot of freebies that involve fitness in Baltimore. Want to learn how to ride a bike?
"One of the things that I absolutely love is Druid Hill Park, every Wednesday from 5 until 8 o'clock they have a three-mile ride clinic. It is designed for beginning riders, so whether you have a child that's learning how to ride a bike, or you have an adult always wanting to learn to ride a bike, they have three miles. The bikes are provided as well as helmets."
Redrick says there are also biking options at Lake Montebello, Herring Run Park as well as Gwynn Falls Park in Baltimore. If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, how about kayaking.
"Cherry Hill Splash Park offers the opportunity for those who are beginners to learn how to kayak inside of a pool and the coolest part is that it's $2. You can always go to Middle Branch Park and they offer open water kayaking, training as well and it's really great because there's instruction with canoes as well as kayaks. It's free to city residents and if you're not a city resident it's just twenty dollars."
Finding the true gems from Charm City, and maybe even more than you bargained for.
"It's really great to explore your city and to just try different things that you never thought that Baltimore had to offer."
