Main street trick or treat

Posted

Halloween season is in full swing.

Grab your little ones and candy bags and head out for some early trick or treating.

Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced the City of Laurel will work jointly with the Laurel Board of Trade to make Trick or Treat on Main Street safe for your little ones this year.

The event will be from 6pm to 8pm October 25th, 2018, and again for Halloween, October 31st.

The Laurel Police Department and Public Works will be closing parts of Main Street to vehicular traffic:
    Main Street will be closed in its entirety from 4th Street to Route 1;
    Eastbound Main Street will be closed from 5th Street to Route 1; and
    Tolson and Fetty Alleys will remain open to allow access for businesses and residents in that area of Main Street.

Children must be accompanied by adults and sorry, but leave your pets at home!

Parents are also encouraged to check your child's candy, before the little monsters dive in.
