A Maryland woman says her windshield was smashed by flying ice on I-695, and now her video plea to drivers is going viral on social media.
Cynthia Gooding took to Facebook Wednesday begging drivers to clean the snow off their cars before hitting the road.
Gooding’s video shows her car's broken windshield and shattered glass, as she pleads for motorists to, “Please clean off the top of your vehicles. It could cause death.”
The video has been shared more than 100 times with more than 3,500 views to date.

Maryland State Police reported several accidents Wednesday caused by projectile snow and ice from cars on the roadways.

Police said in three separate incidents, drivers suffered eye injuries after glass sprayed from windshields broken by ice from other cars.
Troopers urge drivers to take the time to clean their entire vehicle of all ice and snow before traveling, including clearing the hood, roof and trunk areas of the car.
