A pair of sporty Vans, plus other pairs of shoes worn by a high schooler named Daniel, elicit calls of "Damn, Daniel!" over and over again in a 30-second clip that's gone viral online.
The original tweet with the clip has been retweeted more than 310,00 times, and liked more than 400,000 times. Daniel will even be featured on The Ellen Degeneres Show Wednesday.

"We like this video because it's weird for all the right reasons," Teen Vogue writer Taylor Davies wrote.
"The beauty of the modern meme economy is that anything can become a meme," opined Heather Schwedel, a blogger for Slate.
But Daniel and Josh, his friend who is apparently behind the clip, also have gotten a taste of the dark side of Internet fame.
Someone "swatted" one of the teens, the Washington Post reported, calling a police non-emergency line at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, claiming he had shot his mother in the head with an AK-47. But it was a ruse.
