So Lauren Ochalek did what most parents do, record their child. She whipped out her iPhone and started a question and answer with her 7-year-old daughter Ellie.

A friend who works for Good Morning America saw it and asked, “Can we use this?” Lauren replied, “Sure ,why not.” Ever since it aired on the morning show, a heavy rain of positivity has stormed down on their family.

Little Ellie the Enchanted has down syndrome.

Ellie goes to Folger McKinsey Elementary, and the school has embraced her every need.

You see, Ellie was told by a doctor at birth that she would be a vegetable. Well, guess what this little girl wants to be when she grows up? A doctor!

Mom just dreamed of a school like Folger McKinsey, one which includes, respects, and treats Ellie just like the others.

Lenora Fox is the principal for the school, whose mantra is #OtherPeopleMatter. Ellie has two great teachers in Lyndsay Geddings and Sara Wagner. Ellie wants everyone to know she is kind, loved and powerful. Plans are to have her graduate from high school with a diploma in hand and to go to college, which they are saving for right now, get a job and live a great outstanding life.
