Amtrak's Northeast Regional service is running on a modified schedule Tuesday. Trains will be running less frequently between Washington, D.C, and New York City.
To accommodate passengers during the modified schedule Amtrak will be making additional stops in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey Tuesday April 4.
Amtrak had to close several tracks at the New York Penn Station after a minor train derailment Monday. Riders heading to or leaving Penn Station can expect up to an hour delay during rush hour.
The Empire Service and Keystone Service will also run on modified schedules with some reduced frequencies.
