A Philadelphia police officer shot multiple times is expected to survive.
Police say the officer was ambushed last night as he sat in his marked police cruiser.
The gunman fired a total of 13 shots at close range, hitting the officer and his car. The officer returned fire, hitting the gunman at least three times.
Police say the gunman ran off, but was quickly arrested by other officers.
