ANNAPOLIS, Md. — 38 North Oysters is holding a pop-up shop event in Annapolis Thursday night to support local watermen.
Fresh oysters will be available to purchase from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation Philip Merrill Environmental Center
on Herndon Avenue. This is one of four pop-ups happening over the next few weeks.
According to 38 North Oysters, sales of oysters have been down since the start of the pandemic, especially to restaurants. The pop-ups are an effort to show support to local watermen whose livelihoods are at stake.
If you want to let people know your organization, restaurant, business, etc. is open, record a shout out and email it to lauren.cook@wmar.com. We will air it on Good Morning Maryland.
