BALTIMORE — We're all going through a tough time right now and that's especially true for our local businesses.

One of those businesses is Ash and Oak Hair Salon and Spa in Hampden. The salon just opened in September and there is another location in Catonsville.
Right now they are still working on building a new clientele and says its pretty tough to do with restaurants being closed in the city.
"COVID has affected us significantly in that there are so many capacity restrictions. Even bigger than the capacity restrictions with the city shutting down restaurants completely that affects out foot traffic in the neighborhood. It affects all of us not just restaurants."
The owner says they are taking all precautions by masks and following sanitizing protocols.
