BALTIMORE — Last Friday, two area Regal movie theatres on McCormick Road in Hunt Valley and Commerce Center Drive in Columbia reopened
On May 14, two more on Constant Friendship Boulevard in Abingdon and S. Main Chapel Way in Gambrills will join them.
WMAR-2 News spoke to movie goers at the Laurel location.
"It looks like there are only five people in the theatre for the showing I bought tickets to," said Ed Donnelly. "I'm okay with that."
"This is long overdue for me," said Yasmine Ali. "I've quarantined in my house. The last movie I saw in the theatre was in late 2019."
"I feel safe," said Daniel LeBlanc. "There's not a lot of people here and I'm here with my daughter. We're doing a Mother's Day date night."
Featured films include Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man, Mortal Kombat and Godzilla vs. Kong plus other showings.
