HENDERSON, Md. — Schrader's Outdoors is about 1200 acres in Henderson, Maryland on the Eastern Shore. This is a part of the more than 400 million dollar business hunting generates in Maryland.

Here they have a bed and breakfast, hunting, fishing, shooting and a 3D sporting clay facility.

Bobby Wood is the General Manager here, like most businesses, they closed down in March and opened back up in May partially.

They had to lay of all their employees because very little of no money was coming in. They host corporate events, tournaments, private parties for individuals, all that went away. Adding even more pressure, they are about to double their operation as they expand to Millington Maryland. Wood is optimistic about the transition.

"It's going to be a huge jump, but we're all ready, we're all excited and we're ready to move forward and see what the other side's got for us."

With a property as wide open as this it's easy to get social distancing, yet there is still problems for customers during this pandemic.

"Because if they come here they have to quarantine for two weeks when they get back. So that's kind of decision maker for them that they are not going to come because of that."
