BALTIMORE — Baltimore City homicide detectives are investigating two new separate incidents including the death of a 72-year-old woman.

On Tuesday officers in the Northern District were called to follow-up on a missing person at a home in the 5500 block of The Alameda.

Inside the home is where police found the body of Lillian Herndon, with present signs of foul play.

Police didn't say if anyone else was inside the home at the time, or if Herndon was the person previously reported missing.

It's unclear what police found on scene that indicated foul play.

Hours later around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, Southwest District officers were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Collins Avenue for a shooting.

Arriving officers found an unresponsive 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim later died at the scene. His name hasn't been released.

Shortly after, two more male shooting victims walked into area hospitals and reported being shot at the same location.

Investigators are currently working leads on both cases but haven't released any information on possible suspects or motives in either one.

Anyone with information should call detectives at 410-396-2100.

So far in 2020, there have been 84 homicides in Baltimore.
