ANNAPOLIS, MD — $10 million in new funding is coming for Maryland's farmers.
Contract poultry growers are eligible for $1,000 per poultry house (5 houses max), while growers whose flocks were depopulated can get up to $1,500 per house.
Contract poultry producers were not eligible for Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) funds the first time they were offered.
Farmers who were, and got aid from that first round of assistance, are also eligible for a 15% bonus payment.
