BALTIMORE — Baltimore City leaders on Thursday voted to waive all late fees for 2020-2021 alcoholic beverage license renewals.
The Board of Liquor License Commissioners says renewal applications still need to be filled out and sent in with a $50 processing fee, or else licenses will not be renewed.
If by December 4 you haven't sent yours in, be sure to mail it to the board's offices.
A delay in this year's renewal process will have no effect on the 2021-2022 license renewal process, which lasts from March 1 through 31.
Any license holds that may have been placed by the Maryland State Comptroller or City Law Department during 2020-2021, must be resolved during the 2021-2022 renewal process before new licenses are issued.
If the board receives a valid protest of renewal before December 31, 2020, a hearing will be held in January 2021 before issuing a protested license.
