Maryland awards $30 million to entertainment venues impacted by COVID-19

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland on Friday awarded $30 million in grants to more than 90 live entertainment venues, event promoters, and independent locally-owned movie theaters impacted by COVID-19.

“These awards will save hundreds of jobs and help many of Maryland’s entertainment venues sustain their operations until they can safely and fully reopen,” said Governor Hogan.
