BWI AIRPORT — The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is hiring for about 50 positions by summer.
The openings at BWI are mostly for part-time employees with the ability to transition to full-time as positions become available.
“We’re looking to hire more officers by summer,” said Andrea R. Mishoe, TSA’s Federal Security Director for Maryland. “Our TSA officers fill a critical role in that their mission is to ensure that passengers arrive at their destinations safely. We expect to screen a greater volume of travelers regularly by summer and we will need additional officers to support that vital mission.”
Roles at TSA include paid training, annual and sick leave, health care plans for full- and part-time employees and a retirement plan. Veterans are also encouraged to apply.
Starting pay in Baltimore is $18.57 per hour with opportunities for pay increases after six months.
