The Maryland Department of Labor announced that starting this weekend, live claims agents will also be available on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This gives the claimants the option to call seven days a week.
They also launched a new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system this afternoon to expand and improve the features available for unemployment insurance claimants who contact the department by phone.
