ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Anne Arundel and Carroll County Public Libraries on Tuesday started to partially reopen.
Carroll County will be opening Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Face coverings and social distancing are required.
Express Pickup, virtual programs, and free access to Wi-Fi from library parking lots will continue. Passport, notary services and meeting room usage remains unavailable.
All 16 Anne Arundel County branches are open by appointment only.
Customers with an appointment can use the library computers and search for books, music and movies prior to checking them out.
To make an appointment, all you have to do is call your local branch.
Curbside Pickup and Drop-offs will also continue during the hours below.
Monday – Thursday from 10 am to noon and 3-6 pm
Friday and Saturday from 10 am to noon and 2-4 pm
Sunday (starting September 13 at some branches) from 1-5 pm
All Anne Arundel libraries are offering up to 10 free black and white page printouts and outdoor WiFi , except for at Riviera Beach.
The library is working to eventually allow laptop checkouts with mobile hot spots and increased virtual programs through Zoom and Facebook.
