BALTIMORE — Baltimore Mayor Jack Young on Tuesday slightly modified his lock down order, announcing that retail stores would be allowed to open for curbside service beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Previously, only restaurants were permitted to open for curbside pick-up or delivery.
Under the new revisions customers still can't go into stores and shop, but parking zones will be provided for cars pulling up.
Businesses can apply with the city for a temporary retail pick up/drop off zone designation, which will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be no charge for the pick up/drop off zones.

According to Young, the city is in the process of coming up with a plan that would allow restaurants who offer outdoor seating to open quicker, as conditions permit.
The Mayor also said outdoor fitness classes could begin Wednesday with up to 10 participants, while gyms remain closed.
