BALTIMORE — Baltimore City will be offering a free six-week outdoor summer camp for children that will launch on July 6.

It's called BMORE Summer Fun, and it will be open for kids ages 5 to 12, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, all camps will be held outdoors at several rec centers throughout Baltimore City, rain or shine.

Activities will include sports, games, stem activities, arts & crafts, and nature.

Each rec center has nearby indoor areas with restrooms and storage for inclement and hot weather.

Campers will be broken up into groups of nine with one assigned counselor, for the entire six-week program. Counselors and campers will have to wear masks and have their temperature checked when they arrive. There will be no field trips.

For more information on how to participate, call 410-396-7900.
