Paul Lare, Kevin Kennedy and John Armato were at the Mall in Columbia today taking 50 headshots each.
All three are world class photographers and some have even traveled around the world for their craft so these are talented shooters that have earned the right to charge hundreds of dollars on hour, so how much are they earning today?
"We’re not making any money off this today," they said.
That's right, a normal session could start at $300 and go up from there. This national project was set up to help those out of work because of the pandemic. Kennedy is lucky to still be working but, he's seen his friends suffer.
"It's fantastic we're getting this opportunity to come out here and have a quality photo that we can use."
Everybody here is out of work but, even if they do get there job back, this was very beneficial for them.
"We're all on furlough right now and it's very up in the air whether we are going to come back or not but we do feel like this process is a great learning process and if I don't, I'll need it to expand into different industries."
A helping hand can mean all the different when it seems like there is no where to go.
