BALTIMORE — With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing most state residents to stay inside on their weekends and days off, it can be hard to find something to do.

So the Maryland Office of Tourism has come up with some virtual fun families can have from the safety and comfort of their own home.

Some of the new activities include the Maryland statue challenge, mad libs, a scavenger hunt, and old line bingo.

The statue challenge focuses on several well known statues around the state such as The Thinker, and challenges families to dress themselves or pets up to recreate it.

For you mad libs fans, a quirky story will cover each region of the state, like this Ocean City one.

Then if you enjoy scavenger hunts, put your pride to the test by spotting signature Maryland themed apparel, memorabilia, and food inside your own home.
