With thousands of people out of work because of the pandemic, the best gift many could receive this holiday season is a new job. On Thursday, several national companies are joining together for a virtual job fair.
The faith based organization called "Better Together" organized the job fair where companies, like Walmart, Advance Auto Parts and many others are looking to hire.
To get started, go to the organization's website, sign up for the job fair and upload your resume. You can also sign up for one-on-one job coaching and workshops that cover interview tips and professional skills.
It’s all free and, on Thursday, each employer will have an hour long zoom call, where they will make their pitch.
