A child with autism who was supposed to be dropped off in Montgomery County ended up in Baltimore by accident.

Police say the 15-year-old boy got on his bus at Rockville High School on Wednesday, but didn't get off the bus when it arrived at his home in Sliver Spring.

The bus kept going to the Holiday Inn near the Inner Harbor, where it drops off other students.

Parents reported the teen missing around 6:30 p.m. Montgomery County Police went to the Holiday Inn and eventually found the teen, who can barely speak.

They returned him home just before 9 p.m., more than 6 hours after he was dismissed from school.
