UPDATE: Following a thorough sweep, police gave the "all clear" and confirmed no evidence of a threat was found. The Zoo will remain closed and reopen Aug.30 at 8:00 a.m.

The National Zoo is temporarily closed due to a reported bomb threat.

Officials say all other Smithsonian museums are open.
