BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Orioles are extending netting inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
They plan to extend the protective netting at the same height of the existing backstop netting down each foul line to near the foul poles.
This initiative is in an effort to keep fans safe and secure from any impacts from the game.
"The safety and security of our fans is of the utmost importance to the Orioles as we continue cultivating a fun, fan friendly, and affordable experience for everyone to safely enjoy football."
The organization will also be extending the netting near the foul poles at their year-round training complex in Sarasota Florida by the beginning of the 2020 Spring Training season.
