The Naval Academy's men's basketball program pauses all team activities for 10 days because of COVID-19 concerns.

The team's last two non-conference games against Morgan State and Delaware are cancelled. Those games were scheduled for December 16 and December 21.

The athletic department released this statement:

"Safeguarding the health and safety of our midshipmen, faculty, staff and coaches, and our extended Naval Academy family and the local community remains the top priority during this pandemic. We will continue to implement mitigating measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19."

As of now, the Naval Academy's next scheduled game will be the Patriot League opener. The Midshipmen are set to host Bucknell Saturday, January 2 at noon.
