BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Ravens have officially scratched Dez Bryant due to "illness".

Bryant will not play against the Cowboys on Tuesday.

He tweeted that he tested positive for COVID-19.

WMAR Sports Reporter Shawn Stepner received the following from NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy:

"As soon as the information was available that he had an inconclusive test from this morning he was immediately pulled and given a POC PCR test that was positive.

The POC test determines the player’s status. It was positive and the player was removed. No other Ravens had tested positive.

Contact tracing was conducted from yesterday and today using the contact tracing device and the standard interviews. There were no high-risk contacts identified.

This is a scenario that had been contemplated during the development of the protocols and one the league, clubs and NFLPA planned for. The protocols worked."
