OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WMAR) — For the third time this season, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been named the AFC Player of the Week.
The NFL made the announcement Wednesday morning.
Jackson has now won the honors two weeks in a row, for his winning week 9 and 10 performances against the unbeaten New England Patriots and north division rival Cincinnati Bengals.
The former Heisman Trophy winner was also selected in week one following a victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Out of the three games, Jackson twice put up a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3, against Miami and Cincinnati.
So far in his second season, Jackson has thrown for 15 touchdowns and five interceptions, with a nearly 70 percent completion rate, and 702 rushing yards.
